Thought Leadership
Disruptive Thinking
on the most challenging issues of our time
Hi I’m Caroline, an award-winning entrepreneur and global leader, with a background in leadership development and the arts. I started this blog, Metanoia, because I believe our world has arrived at a pretty awful place and that we need new models of leadership and global governance to help us navigate the winds of change that allow and enable human flourishing.
Metanoia means to have a transformative change of heart, or to think again about something. I write on topics that I believe are profoundly significant to our world right now and offer fresh views on how we can think about them in ways you might not have thought of before. And always with an eye on a heart-centered view of our share humanity.
These topics include, but are not limited to, the role of China and the emerging world; global governance and systems change; ‘higher-order’ leadership; the role of arts, culture and creativity in making us human; migration, mobility and movement; innovation and entrepreneurship; education and skills for the 21st century; diversity of thought and social inclusion; empowering the feminine; love, marriage and parenting; spirituality and transformative leadership; and what it means to live and lead with love not fear.
I believe the crises we are facing in the world offer us a profound opportunity to think and do things differently and that the time is now for each and every one of us to step up to the plate and be part of rebuilding our world. And I want to build a community of those who want to do things differently. Those who think in deeper and more profound ways about the problems plaguing our world. Those capable of transcending the boundaries of politics, identity and nationality, towards leadership that places humanity at the core of our ‘raison d’etre’ as leaders.
The time is now.
The world needs you.
